MISE Praxis transactional messaging
SMS consent and service updates
MISE sends text messages only after the recipient provides a mobile number and affirmatively chooses to receive transactional service updates. The consent control is unchecked by default and is presented when an appointment contact is created or updated.
How consent is recorded
- The checkbox starts unchecked and requires an affirmative action.
- The system records the telephone number, disclosure version, time, authorized organization, source, and consent status.
- Consent applies only to transactional service messages for the applicable MISE relationship.
- Marketing messages are not included in this consent.
- Recipients can revoke consent at any time by replying STOP. Reply START to resubscribe or HELP for assistance.
