MISE Praxis LLC
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how MISE Praxis LLC (“MISE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when people use our websites, customer and technician applications, operational products, and related services.
Information we collect
- Account and contact data: name, business email, telephone number, organization, role, authentication identifiers, and account preferences.
- Service and work-order data: appointment details, service locations, onsite contacts, assigned technicians, schedules, status changes, notes, photos, survey responses, signatures, and other evidence submitted for authorized work.
- Site and network observations: floorplan or RoomPlan geometry, equipment and service-area information, technician-entered measurements, and observational Wi-Fi readings. We do not retain wireless device identifiers such as BSSID unless a separately disclosed and authorized workflow requires it.
- Location and ETA data: when an authorized technician selects “I’m on my way” or responds to an authorized refresh request, the Field application may collect a current location reading to calculate status, distance, and estimated arrival time. Location collection ends when the appointment is completed, cancelled, the scheduled window ends, or an authorized extension expires.
- Technical data: device and browser information, IP address, application diagnostics, audit records, security events, and usage data needed to operate and protect the services.
- Communications: inquiries, support requests, and transactional email or text-message delivery and response records.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate users; schedule, dispatch, perform, document, and verify authorized work; synchronize field evidence; calculate ETA; communicate service updates; provide customer and administrative readback; support agreements and approvals; operate managed services; detect abuse; maintain auditability; improve reliability; and comply with legal obligations.
Location safeguards
MISE is designed for limited, work-related location use—not continuous employee surveillance. Authorized dispatchers may view the technician’s most recently requested location and its timestamp while an appointment is active. Customers receive an estimated arrival time and disclosure that traffic or other conditions may cause delay; customers do not receive a live technician map. Location access is limited to authorized organizations involved in the work, and location updates stop automatically at the applicable end condition.
Text messages
When you expressly opt in, MISE may send transactional text messages about scheduled services, including confirmations, technician-on-the-way notices, ETA updates, access questions, status changes, and completion notices. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We do not sell telephone numbers or share SMS consent information with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
How we disclose information
We disclose information only as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service: to the customer, hiring organization, assigned technician or provider, and vendors that process hosting, authentication, mapping, email, messaging, storage, monitoring, or support on our behalf. We may also disclose information to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate misuse, or complete a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
Retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the service, contractual obligations, evidence and audit requirements, security, dispute resolution, and law. Retention varies by record type and customer agreement. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including access controls, encryption where appropriate, audit records, and least-privilege design. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices
You may update account information, control applicable device permissions, decline optional location access, and opt out of text messages by replying STOP. Authorized users may request access, correction, or deletion where applicable by contacting us. Some records may be retained when necessary to meet contractual, evidence, security, or legal obligations.
Children
Our services are intended for businesses and authorized adult users and are not directed to children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will post the revised effective date and provide additional notice when required.
