Matt Hofer
Founder, MISE Praxis
Matt Hofer is a builder of systems, organizations, and businesses designed to turn complexity into execution.
Over more than two decades in technology, hospitality, point of sale, fintech, startups, and enterprise operations, Matt has developed a particular strength: taking something complex, broken, or undefined, seeing how all the pieces connect, and building the system that makes it actually work.
His career has spanned the intersection of technology, people, process, and operations. He has built organizations and operating models from the ground up, led large-scale transformation initiatives, helped scale businesses through periods of rapid growth, and overseen implementation and onboarding services across North America, Europe, and APAC.
Matt's approach begins by understanding the entire operating environment rather than treating individual problems in isolation. He looks for the friction between teams, technology, processes, partners, customers, and leadership, then works backward from the outcome to create a practical system for getting there.
That philosophy is the foundation of MISE Praxis.
Drawing inspiration from mise en place, the practice of putting everything in its proper place before execution begins, Matt founded MISE Praxis around the belief that complex organizations perform better when people have clarity, technology supports the work, information moves where it needs to go, and execution is designed rather than improvised.
Today, he brings that experience to organizations navigating technology implementation, operational transformation, field operations, product development, partner ecosystems, and scale. Whether the answer requires a new operating model, a better implementation strategy, custom technology, or an entirely new system, the objective remains the same:
